Pride Ride 2008 June 8, 2008

9 AM: On-site registration/check-in
10 AM: 20-mile and 40-mile ride begin
11 AM: 2-mile family ride begins
12 PM- 4 PM: Everyone is invited to join us for a
community picnic in the South Shelter of Water Works
Park.

Pride Ride 2008 starts from the South Shelter of Water Works Park. The 20-mile ride follows the Great Western Trail to Cumming and back, while the 40-mile ride continues along the same route to Martensdale, returning to Water Works Park. The 2-mile Family Ride goes through Water Works Park.

Proceeds from the ride will benefit the LGBT Community Center of Central Iowa (LGBTCC) and Capital City Pride. LGBTCC organizes and maintains resources to promote the well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons, nurture their families and relationships, and increase understanding of the LGBT community of central Iowa. Capital City Pride promotes acceptance, tolerance, and understanding of the LGBT community through education, programming, and visibility.

2-Mile/20-Mile/40-Mile (Adult): $25
2-Mile/20-Mile/40-Mile (Youth, 12 and Under): $10
2-Mile/20-Mile/40-Mile (Adult, registering with group of 10 or more): $20
2-Mile/20-Mile/40-Mile (Youth, 12 and under, registering with group of 10 or more): $5

ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 23, 2008 AT 11:59 PM. If registering after May 23rd, please go to www.capitalcitypride.org to print and mail registration form, or register at event at 9 AM. Please note, short-sleeve shirt not guaranteed if registering after May 23rd. Groups of 10 or more receive $5 discount per registrant.
