Pride of Paper/Orguillo En Papel: Arte Pale Oaxaca & Kiff Slemmons May 18, 2010

Over the past 10 years Chicago-based artist Kiff Slemmons has been collaborating with Mexican artists at a papermaking facility outside of Oaxaca. Using local plants, fibers, and natural dyes, the artisans have developed a wide variety of contemporary paper jewelry, which Slemmons presents in installations and sculptural configurations.
