Almost entirely devoid of dialogue, the film follows a young man credited only as 'El' as he scours suburban Strasbourg in search of Sylvia, a woman he asked for directions in a bar several years before.
Catalan filmmaker José Luis Guerín is one of Europe's most distinctive directors; though less well known here than he should be, the release of his internationally acclaimed new film may change that situation.
