Preview Exhibition Opening – Viva la Fiesta! August 2, 2012

A special free art opening on Fiesta week “First Thursday” kicks off a month-long exhibit leading up to the Santa Barbara Studio Artists’ 11th Annual Open Studios Tour. In conjunction with the Downtown Organization's ‘First Thursday’, art lovers and collectors are invited to attend the opening and meet many of the 35 artists while enjoying food and wine, and planning which studios to visit during their tour. The exhibit will be open throughout August, leading up to the August 25 & 26 Tour dates.

Santa Barbara Studio Artists Open Studios Tour is a two-day self-guided driving tour which steers visitors to artists’ studios through the stunning back roads, charming neighborhoods and estates of one of the most beautiful coastal cities in the world. Tour guests will discover an award-winning wonderland of landscape, contemporary, and figurative painting, as well as sculpture and assemblage.
