Presidio Dance Theatre/Academy present Dancing Across Cultures May 26, 2006

Presidio Dance Theatre?s 2006 Dancing Across Cultures production on Friday, May 26, will feature the Presidio Dance Theatre with the participation of Presidio Dance Theatre Academy and a number of international guest artists. 2006 Dancing Across Cultures will include original choreography by Sherene Melania, Artistic Director of Presidio Dance Theatre; Jerry Duke, PHD, professor of Dance Ethnology and History at San Francisco State University; Thais Sobreira from Rio de Janiero, Brazil; Carnival San Francisco?s Queen Iya Silva; and Albert Chan, director of Fook Sing Lion Dance Troupe.

The 7pm performance at the Palace of Fine Arts will be preceded by a ?Meet the Artists? reception from 5:30 ? 6:30pm.
