Presidential Letters: Exhibition of missives from forty-two Presidents October 2, 2008

The Newport Art Museum marks the 2008 election with an exhibition of letters written by forty-two American Presidents including missives from George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson, Ronald Reagan, William J. Clinton and George W. Bush. The letters, many of which feature photographs or engravings of the Presidents, form part of the Terrence and Suzanne Murray Collection. ADMISSION:Adults $8, Seniors $6, Students and Military $5, Children 5 and under and members are free. HOURS:Tues-Fri, 1pm-3pm; Sat,10am – 4pm; Sun,12 – 4pm
