Presents for Paws November 25, 2006

Help needy pets! The Washington Animal Rescue League announces its sixth annual Presents for Paws - a holiday toy and food drive for needy dogs and cats in the Washington metro area. Starting November 25th, we will be collecting dry pet food, treats, new toys, dog sweaters, cat scratching pads, and beds for cats and dogs. On December 16th, these gifts will be distributed to people whose animals need them. Please bring gifts to our shelter located at 71 Oglethorpe Street, NW, between New Hampshire and Kansas Avenues, or please visit our website at www.warl.org or call 202-726-2556 for more convenient drop-off locations.
