Present Spaces, Future Places w/ Laura Deutch - Free Premiere Event June 15, 2012

Philadelphia-based media artist/educator/founder of Messages in Motion (a mobile media studio), Laura Deutch, uses participatory processes to engage communities in expanded documentary production. She has spent the month in Buffalo as a visiting artist-in-residence at Squeaky Wheel. During her time here, she made new works and collaborated with some folks at neighborhood programs and community-based organizations to produce short form documentaries on the theme of Present Spaces, Future Places.
