This seminar assists agency staff, consultants, attorneys, and project applicants in preparing environmental analyses in CEQA documents. It also aids responsible agencies, environmental advocates, and other interested parties in the review of CEQA documents. The program offers a nuts-and-bolts approach to methodologies, techniques, and legal requirements; covers different approaches and formats used in CEQA documents; and provides examples of well-prepared documents. Instruction includes discussion of project management issues and use of research tools and GIS in CEQA document preparation. The program also addresses key things to look for in CEQA review.
