Houston, it’s that time of year again. Visit the nation’s first Weather Museum in the Houston Museum District. The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane season officially began June 1 and will run through November 30, with the period of August 15 to September 15 being noted as the high point of the season. To help you and your family learn more about hurricanes and be prepared for the upcoming season, The Weather Museum invites everyone to stop by to receive valuable information and register to win a hurricane kit and weather radio donated by Midland Radio. The Weather Museum is located at 5104 Caroline Street in the Houston Museum District.
Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission for self guided tours are Adults $5, Students and Seniors $3, and Free for children 3 and under. For more info, visit www.TheWeatherMuseum.org.
