Prepare for a Behavioral Interviewing Session May 25, 2010

Join us on Tuesday, May 25th at 6:30pm at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in the Faith Sharing Room, located at 15629 South Rt. 59, Plainfield. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Our members represent all ages, work backgrounds and future desires. Dress is casual.

If you are new to job searching, come for the special 6:30pm introduction to networking tools like the Handbill and the Elevator Speech to help you get the most out of your effort.

At 7:00pm, Judy Lake, HR Manager at ITW Deltar will speak about Behavioral Interviewing, an interviewing style that uses past performance and behaviors as predictors of future success. She will provide tips on how to prepare for and ace a behavioral interview.

After your interviewing questions are addressed, you can participate in a structured Networking Session to practice skills and expand your network. So bring at least 20 copies of your handbill or resume.

Or, if you prefer, you can work one-on-one with coaches to improve your resume, or networking tools; practice via a mock interview or just talk with someone from our Spiritual/Transition team who understands and cares.
