You are being invited to join the
group for a day at the polo. This is planned trip will be our 4th trip in a row to the very
exclusive event. As in previous years we've hired a Double Decker Bus to
take us from London to Windsor. Where members will be free to roam the
grounds and take in the biggest polo event in the world. Bring along a
picnic and some drinks enjoy the events of the day.
Coach leaves
London at 9am and departs Windsor approx 6pm returning to a friendly bar
in Shepherd's Bush, where you can relax with a drink or get a meal.

simply put the earlier you book the less you'll pay.

Guards Polo Club, located in the stunning surroundings of
Royal Windsor Great Park, just 35 miles from central London, is the
premier polo club in Europe. It hosts some
of the best known and most competitive polo matches in the world and as
such attracts over 50,000 spectators throughout the summer season, a
figure which rose by 30% last year alone.
Cartier
International Day is one of the highlights of the English
social calendar and offers two spectacular polo matches, as
well as the chance to visit its unique shopping village. The
next event is takes place on Sunday 27th July 2008 in
Windsor.
England vs TBA
The main match will see the England team play a international team for the Coronation Cup, which is historically
presented by HM The Queen.
This event is quite simply the biggest polo day in
the world! Royalty, celebrities and leading players combined
with a 25,000 strong crowd make attending this event an
experience youll never forget. Follow the highs and lows of
the players as they gallop across the pitch, ride each other
off or turn on a sixpence in pursuit of that all important
goal. Remember to visit our Retail Village in between
matches for a unique shopping experience.

Dress Code
All areas: Smart casual - no jeans, trainers
or sportswear.
Bar area: No shorts or vests.
Restaurant: Trousers, collared shirts &
jackets (gentlemen)
This is an outdoor event and all seating is
uncovered please dress appropriately for the
weather and to be extra sure an umbrella
would be a good idea.
What to Bring
Yourselves of course (and on time please)
Umbrella or Rainwear (just in case of any
showers)
Picnic - You can bring whatever you like
including alcoholic drinks, i.e. cans of
beer, bottles of wine, etc - but no BBQ's
are allowed. There will also be food stalls
and several other places to buy food on the
day. Also if you have a special dish you
want to share with the rest of the group
then that's even better!!
Don't forget to bring your mobile phone so
we can text you any updates throughout the
day via a free SMS. (please note GSM network
coverage in the actual polo grounds in
Windsor is fairly weak for all networks
except Orange)
After you've booked
Please bring with you a printout on paper of
your successful purchase on EventBrite along
with the Google Checkout Receipt and also
give a copy to anyone in your group that
isn't arriving with you. This along with the
credit / debit card you originally used to
make your booking is your entry on to the
coach - we do not send out tickets, so
please remember to bring these with you.

*
No refund can be made for anyone that does not show up on the day or
misses the return ride home at the designated times.
It
is up to yourselves to make sure you are not late either getting to the
transport as it leaves London for Windsor or on the way back. We will
not be able to wait for latecomers so please make sure you arrive on
time.
Due to the fact we plan a pub / bar meet up in London afterwards this
event is only suitable for over 18's - anyone wanting to bring anyone
younger to just the polo part of the trip should contact us in advance
first before purchasing a ticket
You may not be allowed to eat or drink on the coach to and from the
event (decision made by the driver on the day)
We
will refund your tickets excluding any EventBrite / Google Checkout /
PayPal fee's (max of 4 tickets per person / group booking) if you cannot
make the event and give us at least 14 days notice before the event subject to a 10% fee to
recover our online processing fees and time involved.
If
you cannot make the event and notify us after this date we will try our
best to resell your places for you and pass on 90% of the price you paid
(if we are successful in selling your place and we do not have any left
ourselves)
we
reserve the right to refuse transportation to any ticket holders whom we
believe to be intoxicated or a danger to other passengers. No refunds
will be offered in such cases.
We
cannot accept responsibility for any damage, loss or theft that may
occur before, during or after the event to any of your belongings, items
of food, drink, etc.
We
cannot accept responsibility for any injuries that may occur before,
during or after the event or during transportation to and from the
event. If you require insurance then please make sure you have
appropriate travel insurance.
After Party venue details subject to change at any time
We
reserve the right to take and use photos and video (including sound)
from the event for our website and any futures uses by booking you
accept your image and likeness may be captured and used for purposes.
Meet up and drop off point subject to changes
Please note Guards Polo club themselves reserve the right to withdraw
play in extreme circumstances, i.e. extremely heavy down pours,
terrorist alerts, etc If this happens they reserve the right to cancel
the event without refunds, etc. If the club themselves cancels the event
on the actual day we cannot offer refunds. If the club cancels the event
before the actual day will will give our ticket holders
a full refund excluding any booking fees and also minus 10% to recover
our online transaction fees and admin costs.
** Please note if for any reason we cannot get hold of your fully paid
for Grandstand seats we will get you better seats at no extra cost, or
offer you a full refund on the cost of those seats.
*General Admission does not include any GrandStand Seating
Organized by EveryTwoWeeksEveryTwoWeeks organises events in and around London, roughly
twice a month when possible (hence the name).
The organisation has been running for over 4 years now and
organised over 100 events in London. Almost all the events we organise are
totally free to attend and open to all.
