This fun-filled family event portrays prairie heritage through activities and demonstrations. The Reserve's 250-acre tall grass prairie provides an authentic backdrop for the day's festivities. Take a guided hike with a naturalist to learn about the land, visit the teepee, play pioneer games, listen to a live band, and watch as weavers, spinners and others demonstrate their trades. See Native American artifacts and try your hand at flint-knapping. Talk with living history characters as they re-enact the lives of early prairie inhabitants.
