Practicing Psychiatry Within a Combat Zone September 24, 2009

Please join Mental Health America of Greater Houston for a public lecture with Major Christopher G. Ivany who will give a personal account of what it is like to practice psychiatry within a combat zone, some of the issues, realities and how some of what was learned can be used here in the states.

Major Ivany served as a psychiatrist for the U.S. Army, 4th Infantry Division in Ft. Hood, TX and Baghdad, Iraq and is currently the chief of the Mobile Behavioral Health Service.
