Pow Wow March 8, 2008

Ceremony, education and entertainment will be major features of a Pow Wow at the Barrie Campus of Georgian College on March 8.

The Pow Wow is being organized by students of the Aboriginal Resource Centre at Georgian.

The drug and alcohol-free Pow Wow will be held in the gymnasium from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a “Grand Entry” at noon. Native dancers and drummers from across Ontario will perform traditional songs and dances.

Admission is $3 per person, including a souvenir guide. A voluntary donation to the Food Bank would be appreciated.
