Pottery Workshop for Youth October 27, 2012

Pre-Columbian Inspired Pottery
Ages 11-15

Make a pot using ancient techniques of handbuilding with clay! We will practice some techniques for creating incised or carved designs on our pottery.

About the Artist: Brookye Keeney studied at the School of Art and Design at Alfred University, where she concentrated in Ceramics. She has several years’ experience teaching art to children, including work as a staff artist at Binghamton’s own Discovery Center.
