Animal Pinch Pots

Learn simple techniques for making a pinch pot using clay! These methods were used by ancient peoples before the invention of the pottery wheel. You will use pottery tools and your hands to form your piece of pottery to resemble an animal of your choice!

About the Artist: Brookye Keeney studied at the School of Art and Design at Alfred University, where she concentrated in Ceramics. She has several years’ experience teaching art to children, including work as a staff artist at Binghamton’s own Discovery Center.
