Postcards in the Time of War April 10, 2010

The Twelve Gates Gallery would like to invite all to the charitable event “Postcards in the Time of War” on April 10th 2010. Where terrorist activity is part of the daily life in Pakistan, and where an environment of fear hinders the communication between individuals, six artists managed to transcend the obstacles. By sending coded visual messages via postcards, the artists were able to strengthen their connections and discuss the environment in which they lived.

All gallery proceeds will be donated to The Swat Relief Initiative, which will be accepted on behalf of the president of the organization Ms. Zebu Jilani.

This event is congruous with the exhibition beginning April 2nd 2010.
