Portraits of China Exhibition August 10, 2008

The photographer attempts to paint a portrait of everyday China that serves as a commentary on what the China of today is and what it aspires to be. The backdrop in most images may be that of Chinese grandeur and history, but it is the intimate moments of everyday life that are being played out in front of them that defines this photographic work.
