Portrait Collages: Imagery & The Creative Process March 22, 2009

[HANDS-ON] In this 7-hour workshop, learn to tell personal stories through creative collage techniques using your own photos, personal mementos or treasured images of loved ones as the focal point. Together we will explore composition and storytelling using found objects and personal histories while experimenting with creative mixed-media techniques. Take home your finished artwork, a handout of collage tips and a list of references/links to help jumpstart your own personal vision. Bring a brown bag lunch and call before enrolling to get the list of what art supplies you’ll need to bring.
