Portfolio Building for the New Professional: How to Land your First Job
CE218/1 day - 6 contact hour seminar/ Non-credit
Are you fresh out of art school and have no idea how to land that first
job or professionally present yourself at that first interview? Are you
confident your portfolio is up to par with what the industry is looking
for? Want a little help getting started? In partnership with the Art
Directors Club of Denver (ADCD), this seminar is lead by working
professionals in the industry and is designed to give you the heads up
on what they are looking for in your portfolio. They will also give you
tips on how best to present yourself at an interview and even how to go about networking and lining up that interview. This seminar is limited to 20 students.
Saturday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (with 1 hour break for lunch)
