POPRALLY PRESENTS:
MARGOT AT THE WEDDING
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13
8:00PM
MoMA
TITUS 1 THEATER
Join PopRally for a special preview screening of writer/director Noah Baumbach's highly anticipated new film Margot at the Wedding, starring Nicole Kidman, Jack Black, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Afterwards, MoMA’s Chief Curator of Film, Rajendra Roy, will lead a discussion of the film and audience Q & A with Noah Baumbach and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Margot Zeller (Academy Award® winner NICOLE KIDMAN), a savagely bright, razor-tongued short-story writer, sets off on a surprise journey with her son Claude (ZANE PAIS), to the wedding of her estranged and free-spirited sister Pauline (Golden Globe® nominee JENNIFER JASON LEIGH) to an unemployed artist Malcolm (JACK BLACK).
The film is a daringly funny and bracingly honest exploration of the tender, absurd, and sometimes excruciating relationship between siblings and the fallout for those in their wake: children, husbands, lovers.
After party to follow at 205 Club. (205 Chrystie at Stanton)
Tickets are free. To register for a chance to receive a free pair tickets, please click on the link below. Registration will close on Thursday, November 8 at 5 p.m. You will be notified by email on Friday, November 9 if you have been successful in winning a pair of tickets.
