Pony Express Re-Ride June 18, 2008

This year the last leg of a 1,966 mile route ends in Old Sacramento. Starting in St. Joseph, Missouri the first rider departs at the beginning of June and pulls into the Pony Express Plaza at Second and J Street. Celebrations are hosted at all original remount stations along the trail each day.
