The Pakistani-American Cultural Studies Institute is proud to announce The Polarization of Cultures, an evening of entertainment, dinner and speaking appearances by Sara Suleri Goodyear: Professor of English at Yale University and founding editor of the Yale Journal of Criticism; Paula Moya: Associate Professor of English at Stanford University and author of Learning from Experience: Minority Identities, Multicultural Struggles and Bapsi Sidhwa: author of Pakistani Bride.
Pakistani-American Cultural Studies Institute is a non-profit organization that promotes Pakistani culture through education at institutions of higher learning. In this program, students learn about their culture, traditions, and value systems; enhancing their own cultural understanding as it affects them as individuals, dealing with the polarization between family culture and peer culture in the United States.
