Pokemon Platinum Prerelease January 31, 2009

Registration from 2:00pm-2:30pm EST (local time)
All Ages Welcome!! Pokémon Organized Play separates players into three age divisions; Junior, Senior and Masters. The age division that a player participates in is set at the beginning of the tournament season, based on their year of birth, and does not change over the course of that season. This allows players to compete against the same pool of opponents over the course of the season.

The age divisions are as follows: • Junior Division: Born in 1997 or later • Senior Division: Born in 1993, 1994, 1995 or 1996 • Masters Division: Born in 1992 or earlier

Everyone who signs up for the event will receive a special prerelease Card and a pack of Pokemon Pokemon Sleeves While Supplies Last!

You will not need to bring a deck or any other cards in order to play. When you register you will receive 6 packs of Pokemon Platinum and will need to build a forty card deck out of those cards and the basic energy that will be available for your use at the tournament. All energy will need to be turned in at the end of the tournament but you get to keep everything you receive in your 6 packs of cards!!

The tournament will be age-modified swiss and you will be given 20 minutes in order to play each round. During this tournament you will only play with 4 prize cards instead of the normal 6.

Every Player who finishes the tournament will receive 2 Pokémon TCG: Platinum Booster Packs. They will also get to keep the 6 packs they used in the tournament.
