Magnolia Pictures presents POINT BLANK, opening August 12, 2011 at Landmark’s Embarcadero Center Cinema in San Francisco.
Directed by Fred Cavayé (Anything For Her), POINT BLANK is a slick, high adrenaline action film in the tradition of such hits as Taken and Tell No One, starring Gilles Lellouche (Paris ,Tell No One, Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows) with Roschdy Zem, Gerard Lanvin and Elena Anaya. Lellouche plays Samuel, a nurse working at a hospital when his pregnant wife (Anaya) is kidnapped before his very eyes. Knocked unconscious, he comes to and discovers that a dangerous criminal named Sartet (Zem) is responsible, and if he's ever to see his wife again, he must do Sartet’s bidding. Samuel quickly finds himself pitted against rival gangsters and trigger-happy police in a deadly race against time through Paris’ streets and subways to save his wife and unborn child. Produced by Cyril Colbeau-Justin and Jean-Baptiste Dupont (MR 73, 36 and Gangsters).

“Cavayé propels the adrenaline-inducing action from the first scene and continues it at a breakneck pace—packing the film full of electrifying chase scenes and plenty of twists in the story.” – David Kwok, Tribeca International Film Festival
