The Marquise Dance Hall Poetry Series, curated by Jennifer Kronovet,
presents poets from a different engaging/out-there/daring/amazing
literary journal every month.

Marquise Dance Hall is a multi-function space in Williamsburg that
hosts 16 mm film screenings, live music, art shows, and readings and
that sells a wide range of rare records.

THE READERS

Mary Donnelly is a Brooklyn-based poet whose work has appeared in The
Iowa Review, Open City, Crowd, 5AM, and other journals. She is Poetry
Editor for failbetter (http://www.failbetter.com) and Executive
Director of the "Reading Between A and B" series in the East Village.

Poet and art critic Raphael Rubinstein is a senior editor at Art in
America. Forthcoming books include a collection of poems, The
Afterglow of Minor Pop Masterpieces (Make Now Press), and an anthology
he has edited, Critical Mess: Art Critics on the State of Their
Practice (Hard Press Editions).

Jerome Sala is the author of many cult classics such as Spaz Attack,
I'm Not A Juvenile Delinquent, The Trip, Raw Deal: New & Selected
Poems, and most recently, Look Slimmer Instantly, from Soft Skull
Press.
