Yusef Komunyakaa, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for his poem collection "Neon Vernacular," will read from his latest collection, "The Chameleon Couch." His often autobiographical poems draw from diverse experiences and interests: the civil rights movement, classical literature, the Vietnam War, class struggle and jazz. Books will be on sale at the event, and a book signing will follow the reading. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For details and to RSVP (though free, seating will be limited and registration is required), see the website.
