Celebrate National Poetry Month in April with three free poetry programs at the Ballard Branch of The Seattle Public Library, 5614 22nd Ave. N.W.
Everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. All programs are in the library meeting room.
See below for a schedule:
6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 5. Local poets David Edelman, Duane Niatum, Lynn Miller and Sean Bentley will read their work.
6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 19. Local poets Paul Hunter, J.W. Marshall, Kathleen Flenniken and Clemens Starck will read their work.
6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 26. Members of the public may read their own work or a favorite poem by another writer in an informal poetry read-around.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for all programs. Free parking is available at the branch. There is no program on Wednesday, April 12.
