Podcamp Houston is a free, barcamp-style unconference for new media enthusiasts and professionals including podcasters (audio + video), bloggers, social networkers and anyone curious about new media. It is being held June 13, 2009 at the Houston Technology Center in midtown.
This is an unconference, meaning it's a conference where the participants are also the presenters. No keynote speakers. No rigid schedule. If you have something to contribute as well as a desire to learn, this is YOUR time to engage with others who share your passion and thirst for new knowledge.
Want to discover more about podcasting and video blogging? Are you curious about the latest trends in podcasting equipment (e.g., microphones, software, etc.)? What is "pod-safe" music? How does social networking tools like Twitter help spread your message?
Podcamp Houston isn't just about podcasting! If you're interested in blogging, social media and networking, we encourage you to join us - and bring a friend and / or colleague.
