Plymouth are running a full programme of events thoughout the week. Please visit our website for a full programme. Details of the weekend events are as follows:

Saturday 26

National Armed Forces Day

9.30am- 4.30pm – Plymouth Guildhall Veterans Centre. Meet over 30 organisations engaged in support to Service Personnel, veterans and families. The Lord Mayor will open the centre at 10am and present veterans badges. Armed Forces exhibitions and musical entertainment will be outside with refreshments available. Entry is free.

11am - Armed Forces Day Service, Minster Church of St Andrew. An ecumenical Armed Forces Day Service at which the Chaplain of the Fleet will preach. Everyone is welcome.

Sunday 27

10am – 6pm Salute to the Armed Forces, Plymouth Hoe
events on land, sea and air featuring the Armed Services, Veterans, Cadet Forces, Emergency Services and the young people of Plymouth. The Allied Air Forces Monument Service starts at 11am.There will fly past salutes by aircraft, ceremonial steampasts by ships of the Royal Navy, and an afternoon packed with exhibitions, activities and arena displays. Music by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force and the South West Pipes and Drums. Free souvenir programmes and disabled parking available.
