Pleasure Park: the Horses October 20, 2010

This exhibition features a collection of large-scale photographs by Elena Dorfman. Printed on aluminum, each photograph features an individual horse, alone in a studio-like setting wearing traditional equestrian masks or blinders. Ms. Dorfman's pictures isolate the horse, lending an air of vulnerability which urges the viewer to question the animal's traditional symbolism.
