Time to tempt your palate with all the pleasurable flavors that Southern California has to offer. Join Pleasure Palate as we do some culinary exploring of restaurants (both high-end and holes in the walls), various food and beverage tastings, cooking classes, potlucks and so much more. From savory to sweet, from salty to sour, from spicy to tangy, from exotic to All-American, we'll taste it all, so come along and take your taste buds on the ride of their life. Today's event is all about learning how to make dumplings followed by a tasty lunch at Chow Fun Restaurantin Chinatown!

Have you ever been to Dim Sum and wondered how to make those pillowy pockets of yummy goodness known as dumplings? If so, than now's your chance. Please join me for a private dumpling class at Chow Fun Restaurant in Chinatown.

For $45, you will learn how to:

* make the potsticker skin.

* marinate the meat.

* cut veggies for the stuffing.

* fold the dumplings.

* cook the dumplings on a propane burner for a real home experience

* make the dumpling sauce.

For this lesson, you'll even be learning how to make 4 different kinds of dumplings - wrap dumplings, wontons, potstickers and show lum bow and after the lesson, we'll sit down to a delcious dim-sum style lunch of the dumplings we just made and that lunch will also include tea and soft drinks.

A fun culinary cooking experience, a delicious lunch and spending time with other food lovers is definitely the way to spend a Sunday, so please join us!
