Pleasanton Chamber Players To Perform 'From Folk Tunes to Master Works' March 6, 2011

The folk tunes are an assortment of Beethoven songs of the British Isles. They will be complemented by a Schumann Violin Sonata, Meyerbeer's Hirtenlied, Reger's late Clarinet Quintet and Prokofiev's Overture on Hebrew Themes. Brahms' lively Hungarian (Gypsy) Dances will culminate the performance. Joining the established Players will be new members, Micah and Danielle Naler, Sarah Sloan and Greg Allen.
