Playwrights’ Lab will wind up the 2008 season with a staged reading of a new play by
Jonathan Luskin, Inner Monkey, directed by Virginia Reed.

Synopsis: High in a mountain wilderness, Lou and Leslie explore their marriage in the ever-present shadow of a marriage therapist. The intrusion of a lusty forest ranger upsets the week-end and leads to strange new discoveries.

The Lab’s readings will resume in February with Writers with Attitude #5 on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21 and 22, short plays by members of the Lab with a general theme of NOW WHAT? Readings of full length plays will resume in March.

This presentation is funded in part by a grant from the Marin Arts Council Fund for Artists. Playwrights’ Lab is the New Plays Development program of 142 Throckmorton Theatre.
