Join us tonight for a staged reading of Brad Erickson’s AMERICAN DREAM Mark Routhier directs. Discussion with the playwright, the director and actors will follow the reading so the audience can express opinions and ask questions.

ABOUT THE PLAY The USA-Mexico border plays a pervasive role in American Dream, as it proves a barrier between an American language student and his teacher, challenges his ex-wife who has issues with letting go, and mobilizes a Minute Man and his pothead nephew.

Playwrights' Lab is the new play development program of 142 Throckmorton Theatre. The Lab offers readings of full-length plays by Lab members six times a year as well as the Writers with Attitude festival in February and special programs with students.
