Playing Films, Watching Games October 7, 2006

An exploration of the convergence between arguably, the two most powerful entertainment forms.

As video games become engaging with enough impact to watch in their own right, and films develop increasingly sophisticated interactive elements, a panel of some of the most innovative drivers from film and games come together to discuss how the two industries currently relate to each other and where they are taking us. Discussions focus on one of the most successful franchises for both film and game and some of the most innovative concepts coming out of the next generation of consoles.

The speakers are Sanjay Mistry of EA Games and Mike Banbury, former games artist at Sony and now Head of a Games Art degree at Hertfordshire university.
