This Tony Award nominee tells the story of three couples on a Chicago university campus who meet in the doctor’s office when receiving the news that they are expecting. It’s fantastic news for Pam and Nick, who have been having trouble conceiving. It’s overwhelming news for Lizzie and Danny, unmarried college students whose dreams didn’t include a baby right now. And it’s downright shocking news for Arlene and Alan, parents of three grown daughters, who never expected that night of passion to land them here! As the three couples contemplate parenthood, their relationships are tested and changed in ways they never dreamed of.
