Plant Conservation Day May 17, 2009

The day begins with an invitation to participate in an invasive plant pull. Invasive plant species threaten native biodiversity and should be removed when possible. For something less physical, a guided ZooTram tour of some of the Zoo's specialty gardens. Don Krock, the Zoo's Manager of Horticulture, will lead the tour and point out conservation features of some of the Zoo's specialty gardens.
