Trees Ontario Foundation to host Aurora tree planting workshop

The Trees Ontario Foundation will be hosting a tree planting workshop on Tuesday, July 17 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at the Aurora Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 385.

The workshops will educate the public on how trees can play an important role in helping to clean our air and protect our water. Attendees will also learn the basics of tree care including: how to properly plant a tree, how to deal with summer drought, and how to identify diseased trees. Subsequent workshops will be held in Newmarket on Wednesday, July 18 and Uxbridge on Thursday, July 19.
