The Plainfield Area Interfaith Food Pantry is collecting school supplies in preparation for the 2011-2012 school year. Plainfield School District area students that could not otherwise afford basic school supplies like highlighters, dry erase markers, 3-ring binders, filler paper, crayons, colored pencils, spiral notebooks, washable markers, along with the basics like pens, pencils, erasers, pencil/supply boxes, folders, white glue, glue sticks, etc.
If you are able to help, we are asking for monetary donations and/or basic school supplies. Donations will be collected through the month of August and can be dropped off at several locations.
Checks can be written to Plainfield Food Pantry. Please write on memo line “Plainfield School District School Supply Drive”.

Plainfield Area Interfaith Food Pantry serves the residents of Plainfield School District 202 and is a registered IRS 501 (c) (3) organization, so donations may be tax deductible. Cash donations provide great benefits to the Pantry. Checks should be made out to Plainfield Food Pantry. The Pantry also welcomes direct donation of un-opened food and other non-perishables that have not exceeded the expiration date.
