A formidable guitarist, his playing is seductive, bursting with energy. Yet it can also be moody, thoughtful and evocative. A musicians musician James Muller, is acclaimed by critics and musicians both nationally and abroad, where he is equally at home playing with international legends such as Bill Stewart and Vinnie Colaiuta. Winner of the National Jazz Awards and two Mo awards for best jazz instrumentalist and best jazz group. He has also won Aria awards for best jazz album, an APRA award and the 2004 Freedman Fellowship.
