Pistachio, A Brooklyn Girl Made of Trash August 26, 2012

Pistachio a Brooklyn Girl made from trash saves the world from unused garbage on an urban farm in the heart of Crown Heights Brooklyn. In this interactive performance the colorful characters sing and dance the audience into a regenerative future. This is a musical play for children 3-8 years old. Admission is Free

In the play Pistachio, our hero made from recycled trash, keeps the farm clean and running smooth while she sings about all the important work that farmers perform. She is joined by the villain un-recylced Garbage and the farm helper Gabby. Together they tackle the issues of food production, “Does food come from the ground or McDonalds.”
