PIRATES of the AEGEAN is a fundraiser event organized by The Stolen Chair Theatre Company, named NEW YORK PRESS’ “Best of Entertainment 2007.” All proceeds from the event will benefit the third installment of Stolen Chair’s critically acclaimed CineTheatre Tetralogy (4 years, 4 productions, 4 classic film styles adapted for the stage): a 1930's swashbuckler as Sophocles might have written it, mashing up Greek Tragedy and Errol Flynn-era pirate films.
