Hello and welcome to the Pirate Bike games of the 29th modern Olympiad. This year's games will take place in Pittsburgh, USA, home of the five-time world champion Pittsburgh Steelers. As in years past, athletes will push themselves to the limit, testing both their physical strength and mental fortitude in contests of skill.
For those in the audience, the games represent a rare opportunity. They are an opportunity to witness experts excelling at their craft; to watch the world's best compete for the ultimate prize.
For those lucky enough to particpate, the games are something more. They are a chance to push yourself beyond your limits to the achievement of greatness. And this greatness is to be shared as this year's games are are organized around teams.
Teamwork. Excellence. Pride. Please join us for the 2008 Pirate Bike Olympics.
(There will also be food and prizes)
