“Pippi Longstocking”
Based on the book by Astrid Lindgren
Music by Roberta Carlson, Lyrics by Thomas W. Olson
Directed by Nina Meehan
The zany antics of everyone’s favorite pig-tailed heroine - Pippi Longstocking- are brought to life in a brand new musical production by Active Arts Theatre for Young Audiences, a professional theater company based in the East Bay. The combination of songs, dancing, and theatrical fun make a charming and highly entertaining adventure for the entire family; join Pippi, her monkey, Mr. Nilson, and her pet horse (of course!) as they bounce from adventure to new adventure in the town of Villa Villa Kula.
Active Arts Theatre for Young Audiences’ “Pippi Longstocking” is terrific for children ages 6 and above. Catch the show in two locations – Jan. 24 – Feb. 8 at Berkeley’s Julia Morgan Center for the Arts; and Feb. 14-22 at the Front Row Theater in San Ramon.
Grandparents Day is January 31! On this day, seniors pay only $16 for their ticket.
