Pinktober: Kick Off Party for Breast Cancer Awareness October 1, 2009

Detroit MI – Hard Rock Café presents the Pinktober Kick Off party for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Featuring 7 Million Jigawatts wsg/ Michael Seger & Everyone’s Favorite Band. This is a free all ages event! Doors are at 8pm.
Five local businesses have been generous enough to donate items to be raffled off and all proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Black the Salon and the Upstares Salon have both donated gift certificates. Dearborn Music has donated 6 stock promo posters featuring: Daughtry, the Fray, Dave Matthews Band, the Von Bondies, Springsteen, and a Motown Review Poster. Showtime Detroit has donated guitar cables, a tambourine, and two pink ladies corsets. And for the grand prize Dream Town Media which is the brainchild of Melissa Behring (lead singer of 7 Million Jigawatts) will be raffling off one custom artwork Fender Guitar. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20.
