New York, New York, August 2005 ? The wait is over! One of New York City 's phenomenal bands PILFERS are reuniting for a show this coming November! This reunion show will include all five original members: VINNY NOBILE, COOLIE RANX, ANNA MILAT-MEYER, NICK BACON, and JAMES BLANCK. A main reason for the reunion is to give a show to the thousands of loyal fans, who've been demanding to see PILFERS live again.
This all ages show will be on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2005 at the KNITTING FACTORY in New York, New York. Tickets are available for purchase in advance from the venue's website (http://www.knittingfactory.com) and are currently on sale for $10. Tickets are also available at the door for $15, but tickets are already going fast. PILFERS will be playing a two-hour set!

In addition, reprints of their debut, SELF-TITLED CD will be on hand. This CD has been out of print and is extremely hard to find. In addition, there's a possibility of having a live CD available for purchase. The live material was recorded at CBGB's in June 2001 shortly before the band broke up.

ABOUT PILFERS - PILFERS formed in 1996 and was led by COOLIE RANX (ex-frontman of the Toasters) and VINNY NOBILE (formerly of Bim Skala Bim). PILFERS was a band which pushed the envelop of ska/reggae/punk music. Their flavor dubbed as "raggacore" was well received, where they toured all around the U.S. and Europe. Selling over 15,000 copies of their self-titled CD on their own led them to a recording contract with MOJO RECORDS. With MOJO, they recorded Chawalaleng. In the summer of 2001, the band came to a halt and the members went their separate ways.
