Pilates is a fitness system developed in the early 20th century which combines aspects of yoga and aerobics to reshape and re-educate the body, leading to greater overall physical strength and health. This is a mat class focused on creating long, lean muscles, strong flexible joints, and improved posture, all done in a relaxing, gentle environment. All experience levels are welcome. Please bring a mat and water. Class takes place every Thursday evening from 5:45-6:45 pm, as well as Friday mornings from 10-11 am.
Your instructor, Marisa Oldefest, is a trained dancer, certified PIlates instructor and certified massage therapist with over 10 years of experience teaching Pilates. She's available to answer your questions at 303-525-7491.
