Pigtails and Crewcuts Salon Opening July 19, 2010

Pigtails & Crewcuts, a premier children’s salon, is opening its doors and its barber chairs to the kids of Katy. Debuting in late July 2010, Pigtails & Crewcuts will cater to the locks of the tiniest customers. Meeting the needs of parents and children, this full-service salon offers a bevy of child-friendly products and services. The whimsically colored walls of Pigtails & Crewcuts create a cool welcome for children of all ages. Custom-made barber chairs in the shapes of taxis, police cars and fire engines (complete with ring-able bell) offer an imagination-evoking spot for children to sit during their treatment. For the parent who wants to join in on the fun, the salon is equipped with two full-sized barber chairs for Mom or Dad. Not only do the professionally trained stylist specialize in cuts but Pigtails & Crewcuts offers fashionable braids, updos and nail and toe polish application for pampering of the smallest of divas. Televisions playing family-friendly movies are located at each station while a playroom filled with an assortment of toys and video games offers another spot for waiting and playing. Each appointment is topped off with a lollipop and a prize from the treasure chest. In addition to the amenities at the creative kid’s salon, Pigtails & Crewcuts offers themed parties where children dress up in costumes and have the ultimate themed party in the Playroom. Themes include Ahoy Matey, Pretty Princesses, Howdy Partner, Dolly & Me Have Tea, Darling Diva Doll and Aloha.

Pigtails & Crewcuts, Katy’s premier children’s salon, is located at 5131 S. Fry Road, Suite #500. The hours are Tuesday -Saturday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm and Sunday Noon – 5:00 pm. No appointment necessary.
